Art in Action!The Durham Museum is one of only a few places in Omaha to view beautifully preserved art deco style décor. Campers will learn about the art of building design in our great hall. Dig into DinosaursThis week is for the dino-lovers out there! Explore bones, fossils, eggs, and all thing pre-historic. This week will include lots of science and exploration. We will investigate the difficult questions like why did T-Rexes have such short arms, at what age did dinosaurs live to, and of course, why did they go extinct? Wizard AcademyPack your trunk! This popular annual camp will celebrate the wizard world through crafts, lessons, games and more. Join us for the sorting hat ceremony on Monday, the awards ceremony on Friday and enjoy the adventures in between! Please note, this camp is offered twice during the summer.

Omaha Staycation INeed a summer vacation? Look no further than your own hometown! These adventurous weeks will take campers on a “staycation” to the hottest attractions in Omaha. Back by popular demand, we’ve decided to feature not one, but two unique line-ups of popular stops in the metro! All transportation and admission is included in the cost of the camp, for a truly stress-free vacation right here in town. Keep an eye on our camp website for announcements of this year’s lineups!

LEGO® CampThis week of building and fun will culminate in a showcase of campers’ designs on Friday. All week, campers will use problem solving skills, fine motor skills, and tons of creativity to work together as a group and build a showstopping presentation. Each group will decide if they want to build a park, a city, a specific building, a neighborhood, etc. and then work all week on the fine details. Becoming JaneThe Durham Museum is excited to present our newest traveling exhibit, Becoming Jane: The Evolution of Jane Goodall. We will explore this interactive exhibit and learn more about Jane Goodall’s life and legacy. Campers will keep a journal, just like Jane, and explore different types of animals around the world, learning and recording their findings during this interactive, animal-filled week. Please note, this camp is offered twice during the summer. Both programs are identical.
