The Durham Museum Helps Families Ring in the New Year

3, 2, 1…Happy “Noon” Year! The Durham Museum will host its annual Noon Year’s Eve celebration, but at a limited capacity December 31, 10AM-2PM.

    Museum members will be allowed to reserve tickets in advance of the general public. Tickets go on sale at 10AM December 17 to museum members and if available, to the general public at 10AM on December 20.

  • To ensure a safe and fun experience, masks will be required at this event for everyone.

Ticket holders will get an early start to their New Year’s celebration at this family-friendly event. Entertainment will include live music by Dinosaur “Dino” O’Dell and the T-Rex All-Stars. Create your own party hat and crafts, participate in a museum-wide scavenger hunt, plus grab your friends and our fun props to make a memory in the 2021 photo booth. The party will end with the bubble-wrap stomp and thousands of balloons dropping from the Suzanne and Walter Scott Great Hall’s 60 ft. ceiling.  And no New Year’s Eve party is complete without a dance party!
