Scout Group tours and workshops

The Durham Museum proudly presents several fun options for Scouts of all ages, so there’s sure to be one that’s a great fit for your group. Book a tour or workshop and provide a memorable, educational outing for your scout group!

Our Education team is excited to offer a number of Merit Badge Workshops for BSA Scouts, including: American Heritage, Citizenship in the Nation, Citizenship in the World, Coin Collecting, Railroading, Sustainability and Textiles. In addition, we’re also excited to offer the Girl Scouts Celebrating our Community Badge & Making Games Badge for Brownies, and the Board Game Design Challenge Badge for Daisies.

There is no better place to complete these programs than at The Durham Museum, Omaha’s former Union Station and newest National Historic Landmark.

  • Tours (guided and self-guided) are $6/scout or chaperone and troop leaders are admitted at no charge.
  • Groups must have a minimum of 10 students in order to receive the group tour rate.
  • The cost for a private workshop is a $200 flat-rate fee for up to 25 guests, scouts and adult chaperones.
