Each Monday Museum Live! brings 30 minutes of interactive and engaging content straight to your home or classroom. This broadcast-style show includes segments featuring guest speakers from our Smithsonian network, a behind-the-scenes look at museum exhibits and artifacts, cultural connections to the community, and even currents events. Plus, teachers and parents will receive a follow-up activity after each session. Join us week after week for new content, submit questions or topic ideas, and even have a chance for one of your students to join us live!
Omaha’s Parks and Boulevards – Virtual Lecture

Did you know that Omaha, or “River City” developed a beautiful parks and boulevard system beginning in the late 1800s? In fact, much of this system remains today linking popular parks like Elmwood and Hanscom with gorgeous tree-lined streets such as Happy Hallow and Lincoln Boulevard. Explore the history of these wonderful Parks and Boulevards during our Virtual Lecture. Guests will also receive a special map of this popular route so they can set out on their own adventure with their new-found knowledge of the city!
