Educators will get a chance to take part in a resource fair, enjoy food and prizes, and explore the museum, including our featured exhibition by Walt Disney Archives, Heroes and Villains: The Art of the Disney Costume. TEACHERS’ NIGHT LINEUP
Our 23rd annual Teachers’ Night is shaping up to be a great event! After being greeted with a special giveaway and your Teachers’ Night 2026 bag (while supplies last), the night is yours to explore the museum and enjoy all the event has to offer:
- Resource fair showcasing around 40 area non-profits and their extensive offerings for local educators
- A chance to see the museum’s two featured exhibitions!
Step into Heroes and Villains: The Art of the Disney Costume curated by the Walt Disney Archives. Then, journey back to America’s founding era in In Search of the Signers, showcasing rare documents from 49 of the Declaration of Independence signers, in honor of America’s 250th anniversary. - A free hotdog, hamburger or vegetarian meal (chips and cookies included) provided by Hy-Vee
- Two complimentary drink tickets to our cash bar, which features a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages

ARRIVING FOR TEACHERS’ NIGHT
Be sure to check out the program when you arrive at the event so you can plan your evening! A few things to consider before you register:
- We ask that each teacher register individually to ensure the accuracy of registrant information.
- Please note this is a 21-and-over, educator-only event. No children will be admitted. We encourage you to attend with coworkers and colleagues from across the metro!
- To reduce wait times and streamline check-in, Teachers’ Night has timed-ticket entry. Advanced registration is highly encouraged. When signing up, please select your specific arrival time by clicking the designated registration link.

Parking: In addition to parking at The Durham Museum, the Conagra Brands parking lot at 7th and Leavenworth streets will be available with complimentary shuttle service to the event. The last shuttle will depart the museum at 7:15PM.
