Each week during the school year, Museum LIVE! brings 30 minutes of engaging, fun and educational content straight to your classroom or home. This broadcast-style show includes segments featuring guest speakers from an incredible lineup of internationally recognized organizations and Smithsonian partners. We’ll also bring you a behind-the-scenes look at Durham Museum exhibits and artifacts, as well as cultural connections to the community. Whether you are joining us from the Omaha region, Greater Nebraska/Iowa, the nation at large, or internationally, we hope you’ll join us week after week for new content, new experiences and new adventures!

Museum LIVE! has been viewed by more than 225,000 students and educators since it started in 2020, including more than 50,000 during the 2024-25 school year.

More than 30 unique and renowned educational institutions from across the United States took part in Museum LIVE! in 2024-25, including the National Museum of American History, Pro Football Hall of Fame, Kiewit Luminarium, the National Portrait Gallery, Monticello and UNL’s Morrill Hall.

Museum LIVE! has reached 36 states since 2020. Did you know? The program also has been viewed in Canada, England, India, Indonesia and Vietnam.
