$5 After 5 Returns to The Durham Museum All Summer Long

Another warm-weather Omaha tradition is back. The Durham Museum is excited to announce the return of $5 after 5, all summer long! In June, July and August the museum is open late on Tuesdays until 8PM and admission for all ages is just $5 after 5PM. It’s a great chance to visit the museum for an evening of family fun or a date night! Museum members, this means that on Tuesday evenings you can bring an extra friend in for just $5. As always, admission for kids age two and under is free.

$5 after 5 will includes access to the travelling exhibition “The Animation Academy” The hands-on exhibition, developed by Stage 9 Exhibits. Visitors can peek behind the curtains of your favorite Saturday morning cartoons and CGI blockbusters to see how animation and storytelling come to life! Real animation cels, artist sketches and notes offer a true insider’s experience, making this a perfect blend of nostalgia, education and hands-on fun. The exhibit features the work of major studios Aardman, DreamWorks and more.
