Your membership purchase supports The Durham’s mission to preserve Omaha’s heritage and provides funding for our ongoing efforts to educate and enrich the lives of future generations. Through partnerships with the Smithsonian Institute, Library of Congress, National Archives, and Chicago’s Field Museum, you help us bring world class exhibits to our community.
Basic annual memberships are available to individuals and families for less than the price of dinner for four at a sit-down restaurant. That means for $55 or less, you or your family receives:

- Unlimited Admission to all exhibitions, including traveling exhibits and special events, for 12 months
- Special Invitations to exhibition previews and member appreciation events
- Free admission to The Durham’s lecture series events

Membership Levels
INDIVIDUAL LEVELS:
Individual: $30
Basic membership benefits for one adult.
Student / Educator: $25
Receive a discount on our individual membership level by providing a copy of your school ID.
Senior: $25
Basic membership benefits for one senior- 62 years of age or over.
FAMILY / DUAL LEVELS:
Family/Dual: $55
Basic membership benefits for 2 adults and dependent children in the same household or up to 4 grandchildren.
Grandparent Family: $50
Basic membership benefits for 2 seniors, 62 years of age or over, in the same household and up to 4 grandchildren.
Educator Family: $45
Receive a discount on our Family/Dual membership by providing a copy of your school ID.
Military Family Pass: $30
Basic membership benefits for an active or retired military family, which includes 2 adults and dependent children in the same household or up to 4 grandchildren
Community Group: $80
Basic membership benefits for group up to 14 individuals. Please call 402-444-5071 to inquire if your group is eligible.
ADDITIONAL OPTIONS:
These options can be added to any individual or family/dual level membership levels.
Add-a-Friend Feature: $20
Include the Add-a-Friend feature on your membership which allows you to bring a friend or family member who is not a member of your own household along to The Durham- free of charge!
Smithsonian Fellow Feature: $25
Become a Smithsonian Fellow and receive a unique Smithsonian benefits package that includes a 12-month subscription to Smithsonian Magazine or six issues of Air & Space magazine, discounts on shopping and dining at the Smithsonian Institution as well as at other Smithsonian Affiliates throughout the country, exclusive international and domestic travel programs and study tour opportunities.
PATRON LEVELS:
In addition to the basic membership benefits, all Patron Level memberships include exclusive invitations to Patron exhibition preview events, a Smithsonian Fellow package, and the Add-a-Friend feature. In addition, each level receives complimentary family day passes to share with family and friends.
Patron Bronze: $100 (includes 2 complimentary family day passes)
Patron Silver: $250 (includes 3 complimentary family day passes)
Patron Gold: $500 (includes 4 complimentary family day passes)
