Enter the wonderfully puzzling world of
Mindbender Mansion this
summer at

The Durham Museum. Created by the Oregon Museum of Science and
Industry, Mindbender Mansion is an eclectic place full of brainteasers
and interactive challenges guaranteed to test the brain power and
problem solving skills of even the most experienced puzzlers. When you
enter the fun and quirky mansion, you will be invited to join the
Mindbender Society by gathering hidden clues and secret passwords
scattered throughout the various thematic rooms of the house. The clues
and passwords are revealed by solving select brainteasers and group
challenges.
Throughout the exhibition, you will be encouraged to think outside the
box and collaborate with fellow mansion guests to meet individual and
group challenges. The 40 individual puzzles and five large-scale group
activities range from easy to incredibly challenging and are an
excellent tool for explaining mathematical and physical science
concepts. There are moments where you will lose yourself in the
excitement of some of the more physically taxing brainteasers and forget
that you're actually learning something. This magical exhibition is fun
for kids and adults of all ages. Just remember to let the little ones
have a chance on the bumper cars too (yes, we said bumper cars).
Mindbender Mansion is sponsored by First National Bank,
